3DBoaty is a 3D model designed specifically for testing 3D printers. It is compact in size, and only requires 16.5 grams of consumables to print. In addition, a scoring sheet is provided to evaluate the quality of your printed Boaty and compare it with that of other users.

Boaty Testing Project:

• Heatbed adhesion - Starting with just six small feet, good heatbed adhesion is the key to successful printing.
• Suspension - the arches in the three frames of Boaty and the arches on his arms.
• Bridge - Test your bridging ability, with a maximum span of up to 25 millimeters.
• Quality of the top surface
• Hole precision
• Maximum flow rate
• The level of detail
• What's even more challenging is the speed. See how fast you can print one out. Can you finish Boaty in 10 minutes?
