The Sovol zero uses two pieces of PTFE tubing between the print head and the filament runout sensor, connected with a double-ended tubing connector. It also has a bulhead fitting to feed the PTFE tube through the side panel. This piece simplifies the path, and allows for disconnect/replacement of the tubing on either side of the panel.

Note! You will need additional tubing for this. The shorter piece provided by Sovol is not long enough to run from the side panel pass-through to the filament sensor. It also is not long enough to reach the print head. Additionally, the longer piece is overlength for either side, so you may want to cut it down a little.

To install, unload the filament and disconnect/remove all of the PTFE tubing. Unscrew and remove the tubing pass-through connector on the top right side. Keep the screws. Feed the tubing connector through the hole. Note that it will be a little tighter than it looks, Sovol put the LED mount screw right dead center above that hole. Hold the connector with the center “fins” pointing up and down, then snap the mount over it from the top, with the flat side facing out, and the side contoured to the hole facing the machine. Using the original screws, screw it in place. Now just replace the PTFE tubing with appropriate lengths. If you are cutting/replacing the tubing to the print head, it's best to move the head to the front left as far as it will go, as that is the longest distance it needs to reach, do leave a little slack, it should not pull tight.
