This is a 3D printed cage designed for safely introducing a new queen bee into a hive during queen replacement. The grid spacing is carefully dimensioned to prevent worker bees from passing through, while allowing contact and pheromone exchange between the queen and the colony.

The central round cover can be removed to insert the queen and then closed to prevent early release. The cage is designed to be placed directly on the wax foundation or between the frames. It's lightweight, reusable, and easy to print without supports.
