Summary
I had some trouble with my filament guides that were plopping out of the original plate. (Certainly the one where I had no filament inside !).
I was inspired by the following design. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:340031. I had only specific M8 Push-In Pneumatic connectors for 6mm tubes. So I had to modify the design.
But like always you just get an STL file that you can not easily modify it.
I also added a small plate to close the opening to grip all the cables.
The pictures do not reflect my latest one that is mounted. I decided to place the fan cables beneath the plate. This is better for the cable harness.
N.B. : There are 34 mm between the 2 holes of the extruder ! My printer is a Flashforge Creator Dual
Instructions
-Print it out
-Tab the holes for the M8 pneumatic connectors.
-Remove the filament on your printer
-Dismount the old plate
-Mount this one (Place well the fan cables in the guides)
-Use or not the closing plate
-Put a Ty-Rap around the cabling assembly to fix it well.
That's it. Enjoy.
You may use the *.123dx file to modify it to your needs in 123 Design.
