Description
I have designed this compact and elegant case, specifically created to transport and protect your HiDock P1 voice recorder. If you're looking for a robust solution to carry your device everywhere without it getting damaged, this is the model for you!
The design features a modern look on its lid. The visible geometric texture on the surface is not part of the 3D model itself, but rather the effect achieved by printing directly onto a double-sided textured PEI build plate. The "HiDock" logo is integrated into the model, with the option to print it in different colors for a more professional and personalized finish.
Main Features:
Perfect Fit: Custom-designed for the HiDock P1, ensuring it doesn't move around inside.
Robust Design: Based on a parametric box structure, it offers excellent protection against bumps and scratches.
Two Versions Available: Includes a standard model that fits only the recorder, and a slightly larger version to store the recorder along with its original USB-C cable.
Print-in-Place: The model is printed all at once ("in-place"), meaning the case and lid print together and are functional right off the printer, with no assembly required.
Support-Free: Forget about supports! This design is optimized for a clean and simple print.
Multi-color Printing (Optional): The model is ready to be printed in up to 3 colors using systems like the Bambu Lab AMS.
Easy to Print: You can also print it in a single color without any issues.
Ready to Use: Both the universal STL file and optimized print profiles are included, so you just have to slice and print.
Printing Instructions:
Build Plate: To achieve the textured finish seen in the pictures, it is recommended to use a double-sided textured PEI build plate.
Recommended Material: PLA or PETG work perfectly.
Layer Height: 0.2 mm for a good balance between quality and print time.
Infill: 15-20% is more than enough.
Supports: Not needed at all.
Multi-color Version: If you use the included print profile (3MF), the colors will already be assigned. If you use the STL, simply assign the colors to the different parts of the model using the "Paint" tool in your Bambu Studio.
Single-color Version: Simply load the STL file and print it as a single piece.

The basic structure of the box is based on a popular model by Aaron Newsome (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:82533)
My thanks to the original creator; without his parametric box, I could have never made this!
I hope you enjoy this case as much as I enjoyed designing it. If you print it, please don't hesitate to share a photo of your result! Comments and ratings are always welcome.
Happy printing!
