I have an old Meade ETX-125 telescope and its heavy-duty tripod. Now that I have a Seestar S30 smart telescope (Christmas present from my wife). I wanted to use my Meade tripod with the new telescope, but it is not directly compatible as Meade tripods don't use the standard mounts. So, I created this adapter so I could mount my Seestart S30 to it.
Embedded 1/4-20 Nuts
Printing this is a little more involved because there are 2x 1/4-20 nuts that need to be embedded in the print. When slicing, you will want to pause the print so the nuts can be inserted before resuming. The pause point depends on the layer size:

Note that these are based on what I see in Prusa Slicer, so if you are using something else, you will want to verify when to pause. This is a screenshot showing the pause point:

Top Center Bolt
The hole at the center of the top of the adapter has 5/8-16 treads for the mounting bolt. The threaded hole is 20mm deep. Insert a 5/8-16 threaded rod into this hole. It should go in at least 15-20mm and should extend above 10-16mm. I had a spare 5/8 bolt that I cut the head off and threaded in.
Some telescopes or tripod accessories use a 1/4-20 hole for mounting. In this case, I would recommend inserting a 5/16 -> 1/4-20 thread adapter into the hole and use a 1/4-20 threaded rod.
