Our HS baseball team, The Northport Mustangs, went to State in baseball. They returned home without their coach and one of their teammates.  They just wanted to see the ocean. They have never been. They wanted to feel the waves. They waded in, unaware of the dangerous rip current that was about to swallow them.  It took Noah first. The boys almost pulled him out but the ocean pulled harder. Noah lost his grip. Noah's dad and the boy's coach, Don, dove in after Noah. The water was too cold. Their bodies seized. They could not save Noah and Don sacrificed his life trying. The ocean swallowed Noah and has yet to surrender his body. We are thankful that the ocean didn't take more lives that day. This tragedy has gutted my small-town community. #mustangstrong is a rally cry for my community that is hurting badly. Feel free to print as you like and give them away. Thank you
