3D Printer Rail-Mounted Foot (with Felt Pad Recess)

Need some sturdy feet for your printer or CNC frame, with a little vibration dampening and space to route wires underneath? This foot is designed to mount directly to 2020-compatible extrusions (such as 2040 or 4040 base frames) using standard M3 hardware with T-nuts or drop-in nuts.

The top features a 2 mm recess sized for a 1" round felt furniture pad, giving you about 1 mm of cushioned dampening once installed. That little bit of give helps soften vibration and reduce noise, while also protecting your work surface.

Key Features:

• Fits dual-channel 2020 extrusion systems (works great on 2040/4040 frames).
• Mounting holes sized for M3 screws (3.5 mm through-holes).
• 50 mm tall body + 2 mm recess for felt pad; ~51.125 mm total height with a standard 1/8" thick felt pad.
• Provides clearance under your frame for wire routing, airflow, or accessories.
• Prints solid - I used 100% infill for peace of mind, but you can adjust to your own needs.

Assembly:

• Drop in M3 T-nuts (or use M3 drop-ins).
• Mount foot with M3 screws.
• Stick on a 1" round felt pad.
