I was sent a Solidteknics Modula diamond-faced finger-style knife sharpener I ordered some time ago.  You can attach it to a chopping board with a screw to hold it in place - but I wanted to mount it on it's own mount so that it would be quick and easy to use in the kitchen.

Mounting Hardware

You'll need four 3 x10mm bolts and nuts to go through the four little heart-shaped mounting holes in the base of the sharpener.

The nuts are held captive in sockets - so you won't need a spanner at all - just a screwdriver.  The nuts are a tight fit.  I'd suggest (initially) using a bolt to draw the nuts into position without the sharpener in place prior to mounting the sharpener.

Print Settings

I used:

• Four perimeters.

• Five top and five bottom layers

• 20% cubic infill.

I used PETG CF for my print - but only because that's what was loaded in the printer and I was too lazy to change it out.  I'm sure this would print really well with PLA, PETG, ASA or ABS.  I'd steer clear of flexible filaments like TPU (however an outer layer of it on the handle portion could work really well come to think of it).
