Holds pocket doors mostly closed with just enough room for most cats to get through, originally designed for our litterbox room to prevent our dogs from getting in.
Option 1 vs option 2:
Arm 1 has a nub that sticks past the edge of the door for easy grabbing but prevents door from being able to close 100% (use Door Plate 1)
Arm 2 sits completely within dimensions of door and will allow door to fully close (use Door Plate 2)
Requires:
Short countersunk screws w/ head diameter between 5mm to 6.85mm (0.197 to 0.27in) [x4 for option 1, x5 for option 2]
One countersunk screw (as above) that is at least 14mm/0.55in long for the arm hinge
If you want your pocket door to still fully open (slide completely into the wall) ensure it has an airgap of at least 7.5mm
Install:
Arm models have a thin wall where the hinge piece goes. This is only there to improve first layer quality & adhesion. It is to be cut out/removed after printing
Door plates mount on the door all the way at the edge (see photos) - Door Plate 2 mounts with the "hinge hole" pointing away from the edge of the door.
Fully install arm first, then use it to align the catch. Arm should be level/horizontal when latched.
