This is a recreation of the landing pads found in orbital stations and outposts in Elite Dangerous.  Having previously printed a multitude of the ships from the game, seemed a bit plain to have them sitting flat on a shelf or on a simple stand so I had the idea to reproduce the in-game landing pad to act as a display surface.

The model was created in CAD using in-game resources as a visual reference with close approximations to overall dimensions and layout details.

The uploaded .stl file is scaled to 1:1000 of the in-game dimensions along with the .3mf file which is MMU painted, both can be printed flat with no required supports.

I started this as a personal project and printed to 1:250 scale, split and printed into about 11 sections on a MK4S with 5% infill, and fitted with optical fibers to simulate landing lights.  The pad I printed is currently mounted to the lid of my MK4S enclosure as shown in the uploaded photos.
