This is a magnetic saw guide which uses 8mmx2mm magnets which can be found on amazon. Also this assembly uses a replaceable reference edge for placing the guide on either side of a board. A problem with some other saw guides as useful as they may be can catch on the teeth of your saw so to prevent this there is a small cove where the teeth of your saw do not ride against the guide.
