This is a simple holder for solar filter sheet material, made for the 2024 total solar eclipse. It is designed to fit over the hood of the Pentax DA* 300mm F4, which has a diameter of 102mm, but shouldn't be too hard to resize for whatever lens you're using.

Needs four M4 screws & nuts to clamp the filter material in place.

Tip: When cutting your filter material, use the outside edge of the top piece as a guide. This makes sure the material will be clamped between the pieces.

I use Thousand Oaks Optical SolarLite film, which you can find on Amazon in a few different sizes.

Optional cap model is included, but the clips are a little too tight and will probably snap off unless you widen the gap with a file/sandpaper. It's still usable with one or two broken, though.
