I've been using vinyl eaves troughs for years as shelving in my work shop and game room. If you've never seen them used this way (see pic) they are extremely useful, especially in utilizing otherwise lost space in small rooms. You can place items like books, toys etc in them and they are great for displaying things as well. Best of all they are cheap to install.

I'd been using them more and more as part bins in recent months and it occurred to me that making some custom form-fitting boxes that could be dropped into the shelving and removed would be even more useful. So I set about to designing such a thing.

This is the latest version.

The boxes in this version are stackable. Even printed at 20% they seem fairly rugged. (I have five pounds of dice in the one in the photo). I plan on doing other versions that are narrower to hold things like paintbrushes, pencils, and scissors, etc.

Friends have requested versions that will hold screwdrivers and sockets. But I haven't gotten around to doing those. There were designed to print without supports.
