Summary
Another spool holder for the Replicator 'Dual' and the Creator by CTC (other Makerbot clones as well of course).
Like it was done elsewhere, the spool is not placed on a axle but runs on rolls, for easy and quick changing. For rolls I am using ball bearings (diameter 15 mm, bore 6 mm), which are held by "forks". Per filament roll two holders have to be printed.
There are three versions for either the CTC Creator or the Makerbot Replicator Dual: One where You have to add an axle yourself (6 mm diameter) and two versions that include some pins for holding the ball bearing.
For the versions with the pins/axles included use a hot air gun to heat up the forks. Once done, bend the branches of the forks a little bit until You can insert the ball bearings and restore the branches again. If You got the forks too tight and the bearing won't turn just re-heat the plastic and bent it so that the bearings fit.
ERRATA:
Although seemingly CTC have meticuously copied the Replicator they have chosen another width for the frame on top: in CTC it's 45 mm whereas in the Replicator it's something like 47 mm. So the files I published will not fit (well, not really).
I'll add some other files but I'll give it a try first ;)
