I needed to replace the triangular plate on an EQ-1 type telescope mount. This design allows the tripod to be folded for transport. It's assembled with M4 hardware.

The tripod already had holes drilled about 9-½" from the top. You may have to drill your own holes to accommodate the screws securing the pivot points to the legs.
