Why would you want to have a plastic model of a hot end?
I wanted to have a model of a 3D-printer hot end for educational purposes in our Makerspace. I found the CR-10 Hot End Model by intoxikated, printed it and looked at it.

Design process
I took the printed model and compared it to the real thing. What I was looking for was to show the inner workings of the hot end - but there was a lack of detail in the existing model.
So I threw away everything and as usual started in OpenSCAD.The final model consists of 5 parts which can be printed in place or separately: the heatsink, the insert, the heater block, the nozzle and the lower end of the bowden tube.
Printing a cross section is enabled by default.
