The cable winder is a compact and simple solution that keeps your power cables, Ethernet cables, and other cables neat and organized, making them easier to use and manage. With the cable winder, your cables will be neatly stored. During use, you can only unroll the required length of cable and temporarily fix the remaining cable to prevent it from unrolling further... and then rewind the used length after use. The design even features a guide rail that can be used as a handle, making it easy to carry the rolled-up cables.
This way, you can easily keep the cables tidy and organized, and it's safer during use because excess cables won't tangle on the floor, which could cause others to trip and fall.
The size of the wire winder is kept to a minimum so that it can perform its function well, but it won't consume too much consumables during printing
Please note that a central support has been added to minimize deformation when the cable is tightly coiled, so the printed result may be slightly different from the picture shown.
Size guide:
Large size - power cables with a diameter of 7.25mm to 7.5mm, etc.
Medium size: power cables and computer cables with a diameter of 6.25mm to 6.5mm, etc.
Small size: Ethernet/computer cables with a diameter of 5.0mm to 5.25mm, etc.
Cable length: The length that can be coiled varies depending on the cable diameter and the neatness/tightness of the coiling. However, they can accommodate at least 5 meters of cable. This means that, for example, if you have a 6-meter-long cable and only need about 3 meters for a specific purpose, you can simply coil up the remaining 3 meters.
The wire winder works by dividing the cable into two parts. First, the cable with a length of up to 1 meter
Now, you can neatly wrap the long end of the cable in the wide winding channel. Wrap it back and forth, from one side to the other. When almost all of the free length is wrapped in the wide winding channel, lock the end of the cable to the nearest end fixing
Note: It is not recommended to wind the cable too tightly. In particular, the manufacturers of power cables do not recommend using tightly wound cables for a long time, as this can lead to risks such as overheating.
Wire coilers are a practical solution to everyday problems. They are easy to print, consume little material, and don't take long to print... Start managing your cables today...
