Here's my take on designing a kick/trick scooter stand.

Status:

• I have now made two test prints of this design: On with PLA and the other with ASA.
• Design is almost there: I'm not yet 100% happy with the stability of the stand. At least, some additional cushions need to be added to the feet after printing. Otherwise the center of the stand is too close to be lower than the feet and hence the stand will wobble.

I added manually to the design (ref. the under arcs of the feet) in order to get a cleaner print.

I then enabled automatic supports for the center of the design, whole addeding support blockers for the ends (see the pics). I used 60% support overhang angle [threshold] to generated the supports for the whole distance of the center.

• Carve out the supports.
• Add cushion stickers to the feet to increase friction and to improve seating against the floor
• Give the piece a acetone treatment [I will try this on this piece and will upload a picture of the result.]
