A small tripod that can support a DSLR or good size camcorder. Especially in soil / ground. The various holes in the tripod and mount are for rigging options. Can easily support 3-5 lbs. It was tested to 35 lbs was wobbly but held!

Hardware is all 1/4-20 Low strength bolts and screws and can be purchased from local hardware store.

1 - 1/4-20 x 3" Hex head cap screw
3 - 1/4-20 x 1" pan head screw (Note: in photo 1 1/8 was used)
1 - 1/4-20 x 5/8" Hex head cap screw
1 - 1/4-20 x 1 3/4" Hex head cap screw
5 - 1/4-20 nuts (could use 3 thin nylocks for tripod legs, optional)

If you just want to make the tripod and fit a camera without the printed mount, then use a 1/4-20 x 1 1/2" cap screw instead of the 1 3/4" cap screw. The screw will extend 1/4" above tripod.

3 shells, or 1.2 mm wall, 1.25mm top and base. PLA was used for testing. ABS would be even more robust.
