OpenSCAD module/library to simplify the design of rectangular shaped compartment trays.

The tray is defined via an ASCII art method , and combined with sizing parameters, a custom compartmentalized tray is generated.

Need a lid? No problem, with the same tray layout parameters and a few extra values to designate a lid, your things will be secured in your tray even when flipped upside down. The lid will need to be generated separately.

I have used this to organize some items, and also organize board game components.

A bunch of compromises were made to make this work with the Thingiverse Customizer feature. Using this as a library is easier, since the tray layout parameter is passed as an array of strings. All the other parameters are still used, but this may be much easier to use in OpenSCAD, if you are familiar with OpenSCAD.
