The Creality CR10S-Pro is equipped with an exhaustion detection sensor, but due to the location and installation method of the wire feeding wheel, the newly introduced consumables are prone to scratching the edges when entering the exhaustion detection inlet, generating debris and waste materials. These impurities may even be sucked into the extrusion head.
Through these two designs, it can be ensured that the consumables slide smoothly along the guide rail and are successfully guided into the detection inlet for depletion. They will neither get stuck in the hole nor interfere with the top of the frame.
As shown in the figure, the curved component can slide into the depletion detection sensor; while the flat component is fixed to the top of the left Z-axis frame. First, remove the two screws that fix the guide rail of the screw rod, install the component in place, and then tighten the screws to fix it.
These components are almost compatible with all kinds of consumables - I initially used PLA, and there were no obvious stress problems during operation - but if you choose materials like PETG or ABS, the service life may be longer.
