This is a base/stabilizer for a standard 400g (14.1 oz.) propane and MAP/Pro gas cylinders. The base/stabilizer can either be attached to the gas cylinder or mounted on a work surface to hold a cylinder when not in use. The base/stabilizer sleeve is stepped to help hide the Z seam. Printing at a .28 setting with a 20% infill provides very good results in either PLA or PETG. The base is "slightly" bigger than the standard cylinder to allow for easy installation/removal for those wanting to bench mount the base. Standard electrical insulated 14 AWG wiring staples provide a very effective way to mount the base to a work surface. Use a four equally spaced wiring staples on the spokes (every other) to securely mount the base on the work surface. To attach the base to a cylinder wrap a layer of black electrical tape around the base of the gas cylinder, or slightly reduce the scale of the model in your slicer.
