Espresso Cup & Saucer Storage Tray (6-Cup Set)
This 3D-printed tray neatly stores a complete set of six espresso cups together with their matching saucers in a compact, easy-to-handle format. It keeps cups organized, prevents rattling in the cupboard, and allows the entire set to be carried to the table in one movement.
Six recessed cup holders securely position the cups, each with a handle cut-out so the cups sit flat and remain easy to lift. At the rear, three vertical compartments hold stacked saucers, minimizing footprint while keeping them readily accessible.
A raised outer frame adds rigidity and protects the contents during transport. Decorative lattice-style cut-outs reduce material usage while giving the tray a distinctive, lightweight appearance well suited to 3D printing.

Compatibility Note
This tray was designed to fit a specific espresso set. The cups used measure approximately 65 mm maximum diameter and 37 mm base diameter, and the saucers are elliptical, about 97 × 120 mm.
Your cups and saucers may differ, so please check dimensions before printing. Even if the exact fit is not suitable, the design may serve as inspiration for adapting the model to other cup sets.
Printing
The tray is 211 mm long, so it won't fit on a MINI printer.
If you have a large enough printer
Your job is straightforward. I use PLA, 0.2-mm layers and a 0.4-mm nozzle, no supports necessary. I also reduce infill to 5 %.
If you have a MINI printer

The model is 179.9 mm wide, so it fits on an 180×180 mm bed -- in halves! The model has two ducts for 4-mm dowels integrated, so if you cut it in half in your slicer, it will reveal two holes where you can put strengthening material. I use 4-mm copper pipes, but that's only because I have some lying around. The cavities are 150 mm long, so cutting the dowel at under that length is fine. Then you can glue up your tray. It does not look pretty from up close, but it works reliably.
