Origin Myth
Malakar was once a god of honor and justice, betrayed by his divine kin during a cosmic war. His essence was shattered and cast into the Abyss, where his form twisted into something monstrous. Aesthetic Lore & Background
The Broken Lord
Malakar is the patron of the cast‑off, the forsaken, and the oath‑shattered. Once a radiant celestial arbiter of sacred vows, he was betrayed by his brethren in a divine schism that shattered his form and will. Cast into the lower planes, his once‑golden armor twisted into jagged iron, and the chains meant to bind him became his tools of dominion.
The Creed of Agony
Malakar teaches that strength is born only through torment, and that those who are shunned by society are the truest inheritors of power. His worshipers call him “The Chain‑Father” and believe that pain is not punishment—it is refinement.
They recite his three tenets:
Endure Without Breaking.
Avenge Every Slight.
Honor Is Not Granted—It Is Taken.
Realm: The Iron Wastes
Malakar rules a tumultuous domain of cracked basalt, iron cliffs, and endless forges powered by liquid agony. Souls wander as molten silhouettes, hammering their own forms into monstrous shapes. Every clang of the forge resounds with Malakar’s heartbeat.
Heralds and Legions
Malakar’s armies include:
Chainbound Titans—colossal fiends wrapped in soul‑forged links.
Oath‑Scourged Knights—mortals who pledged vengeance upon those who wronged them.
Broken Heralds—fiends who embody betrayal and retribution.
Mortals invoke Malakar’s name when seeking vengeance, strength, or redemption through suffering.
