The original tail fin of an Omphobby M2 V3 helicopter is made of carbon and very lightweight - but it is a bit fragile for clumsy pilots like me. And it looks like I'm not the only one breaking it, seeing that it is regularly sold out at webshops.

I got inspired by a model on thingiverse but found out that the dimensions were off, and that the thickness of that fin was too high, keeping the screws from going in far enough to properly hold the motor. So I redesigned my own with the correct dimensions and recessed screw holes. I printed it in PETG, but I guess PLA would do too.

I may change back to the original part at some time, but at least for now I'm flying again with one of my favourite heli's. I hope my M1 and M4 tail fins will be holding up.
