This is my take on an ideal wall-mounted backpack holder.

The design features:

• 4 screw holes (5mm diameter) for a strong wall mount.

  • Screw holes ready-chamfered for strong holder and flatter finish.

• Thinner pointed front prongs with rounded edges, for easy location when setting down a bag, as they guide the handle to the main holding part.

• Center 18mm wide cut-out to suit a finger allowing easy grabbing of the bag handle for removal.

• Reasonably wide main holder body (~57mm wide) to distribute weight across handle while suiting most bag handles.

  • Suitable for up to about 30mm handle depth.

• 25mm distance between wall and actual bag handle hold area, allowing the bag to sit under the handle in most cases instead of being in tension at an angle.

• Rounded edges on all surfaces, which may meet the bag handle, to prevent wear.

• Slight chamfer on flat wall side edges for clean print edges.

I printed in PETG with about 3 walls via a 6mm nozzle, and about 15% cubic infill. Feels solid. More walls allows more strength. Print flat-side down. I had some quality issues on the largest curved surface but that may be my filament profile, since I've had trouble with this specific white PETG filament.

I used 6mm wall plugs in dry-wall for screwing into.
