1. Orientation & Bed Adhesion (Prevent Warping)
Orientation: Print the block flat on its largest face (the widest side down) to maximize bed adhesion. This is the most stable and requires zero support.
Initial Layer: Set your Initial Layer Height to 0.28mm or 0.3mm and increase the Initial Layer Line Width to 125% to achieve maximum "squish." This stronger bond prevents the corners from lifting (warping).
Adhesion Aid: We highly recommend using a Brim (4-6 lines) in your slicer to further secure the sharp corners to the build plate.
2. Strength and Infill
Recommended Infill: We suggest an infill density of 20% to 50%. For most general-purpose blocks, 30% is a great balance of strength and print speed.
Infill Pattern: Use Grid, Cubic, or Gyroid patterns. Cubic and Gyroid provide better strength in all directions if the block is functional.
Walls/Perimeters: Use 3 to 4 Wall Lines (Perimeters). Increasing the perimeter count adds significantly more strength and improves the appearance of the vertical sides much more than just raising the infill percentage.
3. Temperature & Cooling (Dimensional Accuracy)
Bed Temperature: Use a slightly higher bed temperature for the first layer (60°C to 65°C), then reduce it to 50°C to 55°C for the remaining layers. This helps prevent "elephant's foot" (where the base bulges out) and reduces corner warping.
Part Cooling Fan: Set the cooling fan to 0% for the first 1-2 layers for maximum adhesion, then run it at 100% for the rest of the print to ensure sharp corners and dimensional accuracy.
