Holds a standard DLSR camera, for example Canon Eos 50D secure with a ¼"-20 UNC screw. unfortunately, thorlabs posts do not come with 8-32 to ¼"-20 adapters, those are available (see: https://www.thorlabs.de/thorproduct.cfm?partnumber=ap8e25e)  this is a low-tech solution for this problem, i had a 3d printer at hand but didn't want to wait a week for the thorlabs part. sue me.

The part has a total height of 40 mm and should print without supports. 

This doesn't need to be said, but the printed part is upside down. Affix the camera, then insert the ½" inch Thorlabs posts (already clamped to the optical breadboard) at the two larger holes and slide the print on top.
