Wanted to provide my Lego Gimli with an appropriate axe. The model here is inspired by the one used in the movie, mainly the one used during the Battle of Helm's Deep.

It is printed on a Bambu P1P with a 0.2 mm nozzle and a smooth plate. I used Polymaker Panchroma Gunmetal Grey PLA for the Axe head, the top layer is Panchroma Gold Silk for the decoration. The axe handle is printed with Panchroma light brown PLA. The print is with 0.1mm layers, speeds between 30mm/s and 50mm/s. 

Print the two sides of the axe head, they snap into the groves on the top of the handle. A drop of glue between them ensures a permanent fit.
