I designed this object because I needed to repair my air filter box. I destroyed it when I used the air compressor the last time. I copied the inner dimensions of the box because I don't want to change the performance of the compressor.

This airbox is for a 25 lt. 1hp air compressor

It's a work in progress, the next week I will adding at the base a feature for positioning the metallic or plastic web (see assembly instruction below). I think to enlarge the box because I will adding some “walls” for stopping the particles of dust with the scope of don't clog immediately the filtering material with dust.

I'll write all the modify introduced in the section "updating log"

After printing I suggest to deburr all the edges, reworking the holes with a hand-tool and try to insert the nuts.

For air box assembly you need:
nr. 2 flat head screws M5x40 mm
nr. 2 nuts M5
A small piece of filtering material

You put the metallic web in front of the intake hole (internally at the air filter base). With the filtering material you fill the cone and then you assembly the airbox. The metallic web don't allow at the air compressor to vacuum the filtering material. It's a raw solution, it's would be a good solution to add at 3d model a grid inner the intake hose but, with my 3d printer that have only one extruder, will would been a bad printed result

I've added a small grid in the intake hose of the base (see airbox base). 3d model has been updated

Updated the geometry of the grid of the intake hose. The area of the old design was too small compared to the area of the hose. I've add a conical feature for increasing the area and changed the design of grid.
