Thank you to all the friends who handmade cube gears and shared photos of their works! Ever since tbuser launched this exquisite pin connector—http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:10288After that, I came up with the idea of creating a fully printable set of cube gears. From now on, you don't have to bother buying screws anymore - this set of gears can be perfectly assembled with just a simple click.

This design also incorporates several practical and ingenious features. Inside the central block, there are two extremely narrow incisions, which naturally form support walls within the parts to effectively prevent the top of the holes from sagging and deforming during the printing process. Instructions for use
Simply print each part according to the parts list and assemble the components easily. On my TOM 3D printer, all parts were printed with a single-layer shell and no infill, and the results were excellent. I recommend using the "Multiply" function to print four gears of each type at once, and combining it with the "Cool" cooling strategy to ensure excellent quality of the pin molding.
Update: All the gear parts in the new version start with the letter "B", corresponding to the cubeGears3.scad file. When used for the first time, the tolerance setting for the pins works very well. If you encounter problems during actual printing, you can also reprint the pins as needed and adjust their sizes accordingly. Short pins are used for the small sides of the center blocks, while long pins are suitable for the large sides of the center blocks.
