Abstract
This is an extremely sturdy 3D printer bed vice. All parts are completely 3D printed, and no screws or other fasteners are needed to connect the various components. It can be easily assembled in place simply by using snap-fit and interlocking mechanisms.
This case fully demonstrates that it is crucial to consider the stress situation and material characteristics in advance when designing mechanical structures. In the video, I shared in detail several practical suggestions for reasonable design:

During the 3D printing process, it is recommended to set the wall thickness to 3 layers of shell, and the filling density can be maintained at 35% to meet the requirements. Since all the loads applied when clamping the workpiece only act on the outer surface, increasing the filling density will not significantly enhance the strength of the vice grip. The layer height is recommended to be 0.15 mm
