Case for VoltLog's VoltLink USB to serial adapter / programmer.
Required hardware:
- VoltLink revE board (I'm not sure if other revisions are compatible)
- 4x M2.5 x 3mm threaded inserts
- 4x M2.5 x 10mm screws
A variant bottom is provided that you can screw into directly without the inserts (untested).
A lot of FDM printers can't do the legends on the top justice, so it's provided both with and without them. There's a slot in the bottom so you can always see the header legends on the PCB.
Frequently cycling the “VoltLink connector” on the top might be a little inconvenient with the lid on due to how deeply shrouded it is. I only use the 0.1" header myself so I didn't put a lot of thought into it.
The PCB should be 1.6mm thick.
You can use silicone or glue to add diffusion to the light pipes.
The example in the photos is a v35 and was printed using JLCPCB's MJF nylon service. I haven't actually tried to print this with FDM, but it should do OK. The screw counterbores and the USB-C connector slot probably require tiny supports.
