Abstract

These are replacement parts for the plastic latches of the IKEA-style bookshelves. The bright white ones are the original latches that survived after a bookshelf collapsed, while the new replacement latches are still firmly in place.

Printing instructions

I'm sorry, but the bottom of the cylindrical pin needs additional support. When printing, the layer lines must be arranged "vertically" along the pin, otherwise the triangular structure at the bottom is prone to shear fracture due to uneven stress.

Printed using ABS material with a layer height of 0.25mm, without adding an extra shell, and with a filling density of 50%.
