Hello everyone,
I'd like to share a few modified files - these were created based on the original Tongo DC-17m, combined with the improved pistol grip from dalesaber. I repaired the geometric structure of various hand-held components to better meet fluid dynamics requirements, and made some minor adjustments to the front grip and rear receiver. Additionally, I split the pistol grip and trigger guard into two parts because I encountered some challenges during the actual printing process: in this complex-shaped model, the height of the trigger guard is about 1 mm lower than the rest of the body. The final refinement and optimization work was
As can be seen from the photos, the printing effect of all parts is quite good. However, I suggest increasing the resolution of the magazine appropriately and paying more attention to the use of support materials - as I showed in the example diagram, a lot of cleaning and modification work will be needed later.
I recommend using XTC-3D epoxy resin for post-processing after printing is completed, and firmly bonding all components with quick-drying adhesive. If you need to assemble parts that were printed upside down on a smooth build platform, be sure to roughen the surface first to enhance the bonding effect.
If you encounter any problems while using these models, feel free to contact me at any time!
