3d printed part that can be used to make flower stand.
Beside the printed part you will need:
- Wooden Dowel, 28mm diameter. Length depends on how long legs you want - I used 60cm legs, so 180cm dowel total.
- Wood screws x3
- Sturdy flower saucer, I used ceramic one. Diameter >20cm
- Epoxy or other glue that will stick to plastic and your saucer
Assembly is very simple:
- Cut your dowel into 3 equal length parts as long as you find suitable for the legs
- Optional - file one end of the dowel to form round-ish shape where it contacts the floor
- insert legs into holes in printed parts, screw them from the top. Might add some glue to increase rigidity
- when legs are firmly attached glue the assembly to bottom of the saucer
Construction is surprisingly sturdy, I have it for few months and nothing happens, even when dog runs into it :)
