When using the Bulldog XL printer, there are sometimes problems with the filament getting tangled or twisted into a "spaghetti" shape. After in-depth design analysis, it was found that there is a large gap between the gear transmission surface and the discharge port. This 3D printing accessory perfectly fills this gap, effectively preventing the filament from deviating from its path or becoming misaligned. By the way, it also makes the filament feeding process smoother and easier.
Use instructions:
- It is recommended to use a high filling rate
- After printing is completed, carefully polish the surface with sandpaper - due to the very tight assembly clearance, any protrusions or burrs may prevent the accessories from being successfully installed.
- For the 1.75mm consumables, the aperture is drilled to 3mm; at present, the design has not been tested and verified with 3mm consumables yet.
- Install the accessories into the Bulldog XL components and ensure that the bearings can rotate freely. If the rotation is not smooth, there may be various reasons, such as inaccurate printing scale, oversized discharge holes of the printer, or the need to further clean the inner surface with sandpaper and/or a scalpel.
