I have upgraded the bracing kit for my snapmakerA350, so a revision of the sbr16 mod was also necessary.
Suitable for the Snapmaker A350 new bed with installed bracing plates without quick swap kit!
This time I wanted an adjustable solution – and this is what I came up with:
Lower adapter plate (right-hand thread)
Upper adapter plate (left-hand thread)
Adjustment screw (bottom left-hand thread - top right-hand thread)
All threads are metric fine threads M32x1.5 and the left-hand threads are marked with an L
Required hardware:
16x M5x10 flat head screws (max. head height 3mm) - for attaching the lower parts to the linear bearings
8x M4x18 countersunk head screws +8x M4 short heat set inserts for attaching the upper parts to the bed corners (replaces 2 original heatbed screws at each corner)
Optional: 4x M2 heat set inserts plus M2 screws as locking screws
I think the rest is self-explanatory... It's working well so far – I was able to level the bed well and get a few hours of printing done with it, but I don't have any long-term experience yet. In case anyone wants to make improvements or a remix for the Quick Swap Kit, the STP file is available.
