This piece comes as part of the window track assembly, and is not available separately. The complete window track assemblies are obsolete and discontinued. A customer of mine, a good customer, owns a Sebring, and I made this for his car.

The problem will present as a window that binds when moving up or down. Correcting the glass' position will allow you to roll it up or down completely. The plastic around the metal stud breaks (on the left in the photo) and the window track becomes free to move side to side.

I used "tough PLA" because this part needs to be strong and hold a screw thread.

It needs supports, and removing them can be a pain. I printed with 100% infill for strength, as this is a structural component that will be repeatedly pushed and pulled on. I also used a "tough" PLA.

The original piece has a M6x1.0 stud molded into the plastic. Two files are supplied, one for a 1/4-20 bolt, and one for an M6x1.0 bolt. I highly recommend using a 1/4-20 bolt, which fits through the same hole in the car door sheet metal, because it has very coarse threads compared to the M6x1.0. The metric version has a 5.2mm hole, and the imperial version has a 5.4mm hole.

You will need a good tap and have to actually thread tap the hole. It's tricky. I find going in about half a turn and then completely unscrewing it and removing the swarf works best. Otherwise, the plastic swarf clogs the tap and it stops cutting, and just pushes its way through the plastic. Also, it heats up rapidly, and starts melting the PLA. Either take your dear sweet time with it, or perhaps cool your tap in a cup of water every time you take it out. Getting the tap started is also difficult. Use some force to press the tap inward, but only until you get it to catch. Don't expect it to immediately catch the material like it would with metal.

Be sure to pick a bolt that does not go all the way through, or it will deform the metal of the window track it sits in, as it gets tightened. I found the 1/4-20 bolts I had on hand needed two washers to keep it short enough. I would definitely use at least one washer anyway.

The rectangular end of this is just a little big to ensure a snug fit. It will need to be trimmed and adjusted by hand to get the correct fit. It does need to move slightly in the track, it should not need to be forced into place. Recommend using a little bit of grease to make it slide in easier, once you are sure it fits snugly, but does not get stuck.
