I was inspired by similar mounts (https://www.printables.com/model/455746-voron-02-mini-stealthburner-adxl345-mount) (https://www.printables.com/model/950450-mini-stealthburner-adxl-mount) but designed this one from scratch to suit my needs.
Easy to print. No supports are needed nor any bridging in the model. The pegs are oriented upwards so they print easily and accurately.
Oriented so that wires point upwards. Since I am routing the wires along the umbilical cable into the back of the machine.
Firm attachment. The pegs should fit quite tightly and without any wobble. But you may have to tweak the tolerances either in your slicer or the included step file.
Easily install and removable. I didn't want to have to modify the toolhead at all or use screws to mount the sensor, since I only plan to mount the sensor temporarily for the tuning and to remove it right after. I also curved the sides slightly to have a better grip for removing it.
I recommend printing in PETG to give the attachment pegs some slight flexibility. The holes also take 2x M3 heat inserts (voron standard) used to secure the ADXL. But I'm happy to upload a model with smaller holes that take self-tapping screws instead if anyone wants that.
