This pen mount was made with the goal of making an Ender 3 (with the 5015 Satsana Duct) capable of sketching 2D drawings. My first design was wobbly and hard to print, so I took that into account when creating this.
Also, I like modular stuff. With that in mind, the base can be used to mount many other things besides the Plotter. Perhaps some LEDs or a laser engraver module. Who knows..
Be creative when attaching the base to your printhead. Superglue or hot glue are my favorite options, but you can always be creative. Also, if you don't wanna use the extra pair of M4 bolts, it is possible to glue the pen mount directly to the surface. Then, loosen the coupler bolts to remove/raise the pen whenever you're gonna print something.
Adjust your new Z-Offset as you wish, keeping an eye on the pressure the pen applies to the paper. My printer settings can also be downloaded.

- 2x M3x20mm bolts
- 2x M4x6mm bolts
- 2x M3 nuts
- 2x M4 nuts/heat inserts
- Around 15g of PLA (no need for too much infill, just use more walls)
Printing suggestions
- Printed @ 0.12mm with 0.6mm nozzle
- I don't think a low layer height is necessary. I just did it to improve aesthethics.
- 1.8mm walls (3 perimeters)
- 7.5% grid infill
