The Rolson sanding blocks, a feature on Amazon and many low cost DIY stores, are not the most comfortable, but being dirt cheap they are a great way to put together a set with various grains always ready. However, they have a major annoyance: the lock for a sandpaper change is a wing nut, recessed in a hole not much larger than the nut and quite a bit deeper. This makes tightening it or unscrewing it a real pain.

This know fits inside the hole without touching the sides or the top, and thanks to an M5 nut allows for quick and painless sandpaper change operations.
