Hardware needed: 

• METMAXX stainless slipjoint knife without scales
• 2* m3 screws
• 2* m3x4x5 heat threaded inserts

The model is divided into four parts: one body part for each side and one inlay for each side to print in another color or material. I used PETG for the body and TPU for the inlay to provide a nice rubber grip. I also added a lanyard loop on the right scale.

Assembly:

1. Glue Inlay to body for both sides
2. insert the two heat threaded inserts to “Body L”
3. place the scales on the knife
4. screw the screws from the right side through the knife into the heat threaded inserts
5. marvel at your modified/repaired knife

Years ago i lost the scales on my cheap METMAXX stainless slipjoint knife.

Yes, this is just a cheap promotional item thats probably not worth repairing, but this was the first knife my father gifted me.
