This is a quick little hook that I made to hang the power cable for a wireless camera I have. 

We rent, so I can't do anything more permanent.

it has a 0.8mm wall thickness.

There are two variations,

A shorter hook that can hold a small round cable

A longer hook that can better hold cables such as figure 8 speaker or low voltage power cable.
