Summary
I designed this 3D printed device that I called Diy Flash light model 1.
I have seen these led flashlights that are used on bicycles at night and
some of them that they sale in department stores. And some of them cost a
lot of money and I am not very sure of the results on what i will get out of
it, and because they had some features that I do not necessarily need.
And since I have some LED lights laying around and some electronic
components laying around along with a 3D printer, And after seeing
some YouTube videos on how someone made a diy led flashlight that he use
on his bicycle. And how he did it. so I decided to design and make my
own and so I did and i was successful with it as you seen in the
photos. If you wish to download these files depending upon your 3D printer
and your skill level set your 3D printer for accordingly, and after you're
done making the 3D printed components. You will also will need five
lEDs lights that can handle 5 volts, and the leds need to be 5mm
in diameter, and you will need a switch big enough as you seen the photos,
and you will need a jst connector of your choice, and a 1s
lipo battery the right size to fit inside the 3D printed tube inside
the flashlight. And also you will need some super glue to glue the
LED lights to the housing that will hold the leds lights as you see
in the photos, and also to join that housing that will hold the leds lights
to the long tube that will house the battery and the switch as well.
The third 3D printed part that will be its led to close the battrey in
you will not glue it, you will need to be able
to open it to remove the battery to recharge it.
And I also will recommend you watch some YouTube videos on
how to assemble the electronic part of the LED flashlight
I recommended it before you do this project, from that point
on the photo should show you what it should look like after
you assemble it and what you should expect after you get it
working so enjoy.
