Summary
10x AA & 12x AAA) in elk hun eigen lade.
(The basis for this battery holder is actually a remix (6909096) from some time back (Neil Hailey), which for some reason has since disappeared from the site. It is a holder for 2 types of batteries (AA & AAA), which are automatically sorted out during insertion (up to 10x AA & 12x AAA) in each their own drawer.
The design caught my attention because it seemed like a handy tool and also a nice little gadget to give away as a gift. So I printed it out and tested it. In the process, I experienced some persistent problems. Although the system could work, it did not always work well. Sometimes it would jam for several reasons. Also, the shaft for the “liver” for PLA turned out to be very thin and broke off.
When a whole series of batteries were inserted in succession, the batteries were sometimes pushed out of the receiving tray. If you then have the holder hanging on the wall (as in the picture) and everything rolls on the ground, this is not really pleasant.
So I modified the design, made it a bit more robust and gave it a little face elevator. The system now appears to work well.
As the photo shows, I now have several power sources together!)

How I Designed This
(The following items were used as extras:
- Bolts M3 x 10mm (2x).
- Inserts M3_6_5 (2x)
Start with the “Main Body” (green).
Then print the “A-Types” inlay (white) and glue it into the frame on the front side.
Print the “Cover-V3” (white).
Print 2x the “Ring001 and the ‘Lever’ (white).
Mount the 2 “Inserts” on either side of the hole in the “Lever”.
Slide the 1st ring into the hole of the “Main body” with the wide side on the inside.
Insert the bolt from outside through the washer and screw the “Lever” in place as shown.
Slide the 2nd ring into the hole of the “Cover” with the wide side on the inside.
Gently push the “Cover” into the “Main body” without letting the “Ring” fall out.
Then insert the 2nd bolt through the “Ring into the Cover” and screw on the “Lever”.
The “Lever” now has hardly any play and should now move very smoothly. With that, the holder is ready for use.
If you want to mount the holder on the wall, it may be useful to print out the “mounting template”. With this, you can then easily determine the mounting location in advance.
