The flexible webcam mount designed by Teaching Tech is a great all-purpose camera mount. I needed a way to mount this on my Wuxn WXR which uses 3030 aluminum extrusion for the frame. This is my attempt at making a base mount to match up with the original camera mount components.
I used PETG at 0.2mm layers. The extra tight locking ring I included is used to compensate for the extra flex of PETG compared to PLA. If you print this in PLA you may be able to use the standard locking ring choices from Teaching Tech.
(2) M4 hex nuts and (2) M4 x 12mm screws will be necessary to install this mount when using the included printable drop-in t-nuts. I recommend gluing the nuts into the inserts with a couple drops of CA glue before trying to put everything together. The tolerance is very generous and they do not press-fit to stay in place on their own.
