Although on their website the Flexispot treadmill is shown being stored upright, the instructions state that resting it upright can damage the product.

I believe this is because the power switch and socket stand slightly proud of the end of the device, and are probably not designed to bear its weight. My solution to this has been to create some grips printed out in TPU that raise the device slightly when rested on its end, protecting the power switch and socket.

The grips were designed to fit the profile of the back of the treadmill, and were mounted using adhesive pads. They are designed to be printed with TPU. You can change the level of ‘squish’ by adjusting infill and number of walls.
