I created this for my printer so I could have that old nostalgic 80's Click-Clack power switch.
It uses a normal metal type toggle switch I got off amazon.
It is a simple print. Just be sure to print 2 of the "Switch center". I did these in ABS and used acetone to “glue” the parts together.
You may need to sand or file out the center of the switch for your toggle switch to fit correctly, The switches are not all exactly the same size.
Other than the switch, the only other thing you need is 4 M3x10 screws and 4 heat set inserts.
Be sure to use the correct size and type of wire for your application. A spare 3D printer cord or heavy extension cord is a good place to look.
This is the type of switch you want. While many are said to be 12V, if you look, they are labeled for 125VAC and 10-20AMPS. If you are in North America, be sure to get a 15Amp rated switch. Your printer should pull less than that as home outlets are 15Amp rated.
